This simple Printable Valentine Board Game is perfect for indoor play with your students! Print & Play is the best way I say! We love to use candy hearts as game pieces, but all different types of manipulatives can be used as game pieces. This Valentine game is one of three Valentine games that we offer at The Homeschool Daily. Be sure to check out our 40 Valentine BINGO Card Game as well as our Valentine Tic Tac Toe. We printed our game board on regular computer paper and chose not to laminate ours. I have gotten better over the years at getting rid of clutter, so once we are done using this game board, we will throw it away or print another one. Some of you will want to laminate it or print it on card stock. Whatever works for you!
For the black and white game board version, I suggest printing on colored paper like a pink for Valentine’s Day. Another suggestion is to allow your students to color their own game board. That would be fun too.
We played our Printable Valentine Board Game today for the first time. The girls and I used some glass stones we keep in our school closet as game pieces. We chose to use two regular dice, but I could see us also using one of those big foam die that you can get at many dollar stores. For us, adding two numbers together is more effective.
