The Christian Character Traits Draw & Write Sheets are perfectly paired with our other Character Traits Printable Activities. In this set, you will find 26 character traits to talk to your kids about. Each sheet features a description of the character trait along with a writing prompt. Personally, I love draw and write sheets and students find them approachable. When a hesitant writer shies away from writing, draw and write sheets seem less intimidating since the student first starts with an area to draw and a guided prompt to get them started. You can use the whole set or pick and choose the character traits that fit into your homeschool.

The Character Traits Draw & Write Sheets can be used on their own or they can be paired with a story depicting the character trait. Personally, I like to connect the character trait to a story. This helps the children to identify and understand the what each character trait looks like. For example, read Noah and the ark for the character trait perseverance. You could easily tie the story of Ruth in the Bible with the faithfulness. The options are endless.
These Draw & Write sheets encourage comprehension and sentence building. They give students just enough to draw and write their most important thoughts about the subject. As a homeschooler, it also gives teachers the opportunity to correct sentence structure, spelling, and grammar.
Many of you will pick and choose the character trait draw & write sheets you want. However, for those of you who plan to use the character trait activities and printables as a curriculum for 26 weeks, you will want to create a journal. I love it when my kids create writing journals. They become a keepsake for years to come. It is also fun to see how far their writing skills have grown from the beginning to the end of the book. You can download our cover sheet within our Christian Character Trait Pack or you can make your own. Kids love to create cover sheets to adorn their personal books, so don’t feel pressure to buy the pack. This is only to encourage teachers to consider purchasing.
