Make Homemade Beginning Letter Sounds Worksheets

When first introducing the idea of beginning letter sounds, I find these homemade worksheets appropriate. Visually, the student can see that the first letter in the word matches the same letter in the left column. We verbally say the sounds until it clicks. You can create capital/lowercase, numbers match, vowel/word, beginning letter/word, and the list goes on. Happy learning!

 

Beginning Letter Sounds Slideshow

Help your child learn how to decipher beginning letter sounds in words. This slideshow can be used to introduce beginning sounds or to test for mastery.
