How to use our Fill-in-the-Blank Sentences...

This is not rocket science, just silly sentences. I must admit that I was inspired by the infamous Mad Libs. When using these Fill-in-the-Blank worksheets my child supplies the words needed to complete the sentences.

For example, I may ask my student to, “Give me a color. Okay, now we need a name. Can you give me a name?”  I do not show them the sentences yet. At the end, I read the Silly Sentences out loud. It is an effective way for kids to see how words complete sentences. If you like these activity sheets, you will love our Word Family Sentences and Sight Word Fill-in-the-Blank Worksheets.
