ABC Gospel Printables

ABC Gospel Printables

I have wanted to make these ABC Gospel Printables for a long time. Many of you already know how easy it is to share the gospel using this method. Sharing the gospel can seem intimidating, especially when sharing it with our peers or older people. I was watching an animated movie the other day with the kids. The scene featured the time when Peter denied knowing Jesus. Most of us can relate to Peter… the fear of judgement. In the past, I might have hesitated to share the gospel because I was intimidated by someone’s brain. What if they ask me a question I can’t answer, or they say something witty that is beyond me? The great thing about sharing the gospel with young hearts is that they aren’t usually cynical or combative.

WHAT IS THE ABC GOSPEL?

These ABC Gospel Printables are the first in our set of Gospel-Sharing Freebies! In the ABC Gospel Worksheets, you will find an ABC Gospel coloring sheet, manuscript copy pages featuring the verses that coincide with the letters, and a word search. There have been times I have put these in cute envelopes for little kids to color at home or during big church. The hope is that the child hears the gospel and maybe even their parent too! This set of ABC Gospel printables works well with your children or in a Sunday School class.

How to Share the Gospel using These

When sharing the ABC gospel, start by reading each verse one at a time. The A in the ABC Gospel stands for, A- Admit that you have sinned, B- Believe God’s Promise, and C- Confess with your mouth. There is a verse featured with each letter, too. Romans 3:23 is for A. John 3:16 is for B. Romans 10:9 is for C. You will find a manuscript copy sheet for each verse and a word search with an answer sheet.

A is for Admit That You Have Sinned

After reading Romans 3:23, explain how we are all sinners. We all do “bad” things we know we shouldn’t do, like hitting our siblings or lying. So, first someone must admit that they are a sinner. that God sent his son, Jesus, so that we could have eternal life.

B is for Believe in God's Promises

Next, read the verse for B, John 3: 16, “For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” Secondly, we must believe that God sent his son, Jesus, so that we could have eternal life.

C is for Confess With Your Mouth

Now, read Romans 10:9. It says that one must confess or tell God that you believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose. If you admit that you are a sinner, believe God’s promise, and then confess with your mouth that you believe, then you will be saved. May the Lord bless your efforts.
