There are tons of free sight words resources out there. So, why should you use the Sight Words Sentences Worksheet Set? There are a lot of things to consider.
For starters, the style and size of the font is welcoming to new readers. Secondly, the amount of writing won’t overwhelm your student. Yet, your student will be challenged to complete sentences using the sight words given. Each worksheet gives the student a word bank with 5-6 sight words. The student will use the word bank to fill-in-the-blank and complete the sentences. This is an easy way to review sight words, handwriting skills, and reading comprehension. In honesty, this is one activity sheet that my students never complained about. That’s worth something. 🙂
How to use our Sight Words Sentences Worksheet Set
We print our whole set out at once, 3-ring hole punch it, and put it into a folder. I don’t give this set of sight words sentences worksheets to my students until they are emerging readers. The writing isn’t too hard to discourage them from trying and I appreciate that they can work on this set by themselves in the car while we run errands.
