Our Easy Crafts for Kids include all different types of hands-on activities that are artsy in some form or another. We offer coloring pages to ornaments to cut & paste models. Printable crafts are a fun way to incorporate art into your child’s education. Adding a crafty element to your unit studies is an effective way to build on a lesson and make it stick. For some students, drawing and creating helps them to solidify concepts. Easy crafts are also just fun! Whether you are coloring, drawing, cutting, or constructing, crafts can help students connect to their subject in a new and exciting way.

Easy Crafts for Kids
My kids would love to do easy crafts and art more often. I must admit that art is the class my children choose to take when attending a co-op. Art is not a subject that I particularly like to do or clean up after. I think it is the clean-up part that gets me. The printable crafts below have been used in my home to create a fun afternoon or highlight a unit study. Some of the other crafts featured use household items that most of us have on hand. Even though I may not incorporate as many crafty projects as some of you, I try. Smile. Look around and see if anything inspires you.

Unit Studies with Crafts within
I have not been able to create a post for every craft on this website. Time just hasn’t permitted! However, if you are intrigued, check out the unit studies below to find the craft within the unit study. For example, in our Owl Unit Study, there is a tutorial on how to draw an owl. Within our Parable of a Lost Sheep, you will find the cutest sheep craft for preschoolers. Sometimes, the craft is simple and meant to reinforce another skill. For some of you, it may not look much like a craft, but for someone like me, being crafty doesn’t need to be complicated!
