Bird Writing Journal

Use these simple yet effective Bird Draw & Write Sheets to create a memorable Bird Writing Journal that features 20 birds that students should be able to name and describe. These draw-and-write sheets are ideal for combining science inquiry and writing into one activity. Pair this Bird Writing Journal with some short educational videos or with science readers to create a fun lesson that addresses multiple skills. What will you receive?

Once purchased, a new tab will appear where you will download the product. You need to download It will come in a PDF file containing 20 Draw & Write sheets focused on 20 birds including eagle, flamingo, ostrich, dove, cardinal, blue jay, quail, swan, and crow. There will also be one blank draw-and-write sheet to help accommodate a bird that we did not include in the journal. You will also receive a cover page for your Bird Journal. As a bonus, there is also a sheet at the end of the file titled “Bird Watching.” You may add this sheet to record any observations you may have had during a bird watching adventure!
