Editable Spiders PowerPoint

Our editable Spiders PowerPoint is visually appealing, informational, and interesting. Students will learn the main characteristics of spiders. Definitions are given for antropod, arachnid, exoskeleton, and the main parts of a spider’s body. A description of how and what spiders eat is covered as well as the spider’s spinneret. The presentation ends with the life cycle of a spider.

Spiders Guided Notes

There is a set of Spiders Guided Notes that coincides perfectly with the PowerPoint presentation. The notes have fill-in-the-blanks that enable the student to pay attention to the informational slides. Scaffolding notes are known to be effective and functional helping students to retain information.

Life Cycle of a Spider Worksheet Set

This set features the life cycle of a spider. The images are based on real life photos. There are 5 worksheets in this set. Each worksheet covers the same material but in a different way. 2 are more like posters or reference sheets. The other 3 are fill-in-the-blank, empty space for explanation, or has word bank. You can choose which Life Cycle of a Spider Worksheet works best for your student’s ability and age. 4 of the 5 worksheets print in color. Refer to preview.

Spiders Brainstorming Web

Use the Spiders Brainstorming Web to collect facts and details about spiders. Students can use it while reading a book, viewing a video, or using the PowerPoint presentation.

Spiders Draw & Write Sheet

After students use the brainstorming web to collect notes, encourage your student to complete the draw & write sheet. In the Draw section, your student is to draw a picture to represent what they learned. In the writing section, students should write complete sentences depicting what they learned. This is a great way to combine writing and science.
