Blank Draw & Write Sheets
The Blank Draw & Write Sheet is perfect for hesitant and more advanced writers. The writing sheet allows your student to illustrate their creative story or non-fiction piece. It is also more user-friendly and doesn’t seem quite as intimidating as a blank sheet of paper full of lines. In this set of blank Draw & Write Sheets, you will find 5 different levels to choose from. Your child can easily advance in their writing while still using a familiar method. Happy learning!
Additional Thoughts...
Sometimes a child is hesitant to write. I have found that most of the time when my student is apprehensive about a subject, he doesn’t feel confident in the task at hand. That may not always be true, but when it is, I find it important to make them feel at ease with loads of encouragement and examples. Encourage your new writer to try all different types of writing. One time I actually put a monster truck toy on the table and asked my son to write about it. What does it look like? What can it do? Who gave it to you? Try a writing prompts book for new ideas.
Wishing you the best… Marie
